On this the second Sunday of Advent we light the second candle symbolizing Faith. It is called the Bethlehem Candle - reminding us of Mary And Joseph's trip to Bethlehem. And here at the Bethlehem Hermitage we continue to prepare of His coming.

At the Hermitage we light the first candle of Advent - for Hope.
The Hermitage is filled with great joy as today we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin, Mary. On this day we give thanks for God's great grace in allowing that Mary was conceived without sin. We offer prayers to our Blessed Mother that her light shine upon us today and, throughout this Holy Christmas season
